Course on the operation and maintenance of mobile platforms

Mobile platforms is the name that describes devices such as aerial platforms, car-mounted platforms, scissor lifts.Course for mobile platforms in the field of operation and maintenance, it allows you to obtain qualifications granted by the Office of Technical Inspection. Having the rights to the so-called boom lifts and lifts, you can easily find employment in construction, transport and advertising companies, as well as in services for this type of equipment. Completing the course allows you to handle, among others scissor lifts, telescopic lifts, i.e. slow-moving, mobile, self-propelled platforms, as well as hanging, mast and stationary platforms. Obtaining qualifications in the field of maintenance, in turn, is an opportunity to start work at periodic inspections, servicing equipment or assessing its technical condition.

The most important information about the training

Course for mobile platforms, the so-called rises is a combination of theoretical and practical classes. Comprehensively prepares for UDT and TDT examinations organized by the Office of Technical Inspection and Transport Technical Supervision. After the training program is implemented, the center organizes exams for participants, thanks to which obtaining qualifications for mobile platforms is much easier than with the independent organization of this process. . The center educates according to agreed training programs, has a teaching base and equipment. Classes can be organized stationary, in most large Polish cities, or - partially - remotely on-line. in the form of webinars (for people without practical experience, it is necessary to supplement with classroom classes). The dates and the form are adjusted to the needs of participants applying individually or reported by the employer.

Questions and Answers

What is the duration of the course?

Agreed training programs provide flexibility. The number of hours depends on the operating and maintenance experience of the participants. It is agreed individually with the participants or with the employer sending employees to the training.

Where are the classes held?

Our head office is located in Warsaw, but we also organize training at the client's place anywhere in the country. The center has a technical base (maneuvering yard, halls) and teaching facilities with training rooms. We have branches in most large cities: Wrocław, Kraków, Gdańsk, Katowice. In the case of courses outside the company's premises, please contact us in advance to arrange convenient dates.

To make it easier for our students to acquire knowledge and acquire qualifications, we have launched some of the classes in a remote form. The course participant receives login details on the platform where the classes are conducted live. They have a form that activates students - the teacher asks questions, conducts UDT quizzes / tests, and discusses examples. In the case of mobile platform courses, it is necessary to supplement knowledge and a stationary exam, but some other courses we organize (for example, ending with the SEP, SITP exam, SIMP) can be completely remote.

Does the course end with an exam?

The classes are designed to prepare clients for UDT exams. The qualifications allow you to work in the profession and are valid for 5 or 10 years. Thanks to our many years of experience, we offer support in contact with the UDT Warszawa branch, and if necessary - also with branches throughout the country. If the classes are planned in advance, right after the end of the course, UDT may organize a qualifying exam for its participants. This usually takes place within a maximum of a few working days from the end of the class. This allows participants to take the tests on an ongoing basis, without the need to repeat and recall the material.

We offer two options for those who wish to complete the course and take the exam:

  • Scheduling the training close to the next date when the Office organizes the exam (usually up to 30 days)
  • Planning the training so that the students can take the exam the next working day after its end. In this case, please remember to notify your willingness to participate in the course in advance. This may involve additional costs - please contact us for details.

I have employees that I want to train. What should I do?

Employers often sign up for their employees for training to supplement their qualifications in the operation or maintenance of mobile platforms. They are often people who have already dealt with this type of equipment, but do not have the necessary permissions to perform the work. Employers employing employees with UDT qualifications for the operation and maintenance of platforms may start the implementation of larger and more profitable orders, as well as participate in tenders requiring qualified staff.

If you are interested in organizing a course for more employees, please contact us to discuss the details. We will need information such as: the number of people to be trained, their experience in operating or maintaining the equipment, the specifics of the company's operations. Thanks to the diagnosis of needs, we can individually adjust the training program and its duration. Direct contact will also allow us to establish organizational details: where the training will be organized - whether on site, in Warsaw, whether our representative is to come to your headquarters or to the project.

I am an individual customer who wants to become a platform operator. What should I do?

Participation in a course for a mobile platform operator or a maintenance technician of this type of equipment is an opportunity to acquire qualifications desired on the labor market. Specialists in this field are willingly employed in construction and transport companies, energy companies or equipment services, and you usually do not have to wait long for job offers.

We offer individual clients participation in the course in an open form. We encourage you to contact us by phone or e-mail - we will then propose one of the available course dates. They are usually held once a week or every two weeks, depending on interest. During the telephone interview, we ask customers to provide information about their experience in the field of mobile platforms - this allows us to properly select participants in groups and define the topic of classes. After completing the training, each student can take the UDT exam.

UDT tests

In order to facilitate the preparation for the UDT exam, we offer tests with solutions. The scope and form of the tests are very similar to the questions on the examination of the Office of Technical Inspection. Our database includes about 650 test questions, prepared on the basis of the content provided by the UDT. After completing the course, while waiting for the external exam, the participant may log in to the platform at any time and use sample tests.
