Altitude course

To carry out work at height, it is necessary to have appropriate height licenses, which are also referred to as mountaineering licenses. Choosing ours high-altitude course, you can obtain them. At the OSO Operators' Training Centre, we conduct classes allowing you to obtain authorisations to work at height. We provide comprehensive and professional service and reasonable prices.In accordance with the Act of 26 June 1974 Labour Code (Journal of Laws No. 24, item 141, as amended) and the Regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 26 September 1997 on general regulations of labour safety and hygiene, as amended. (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2003, No. 169, item 1650), working at height requires adequate preparation, which includes the need to train workers. In this case, the employer should send employees to a mountaineering - height course. It is also possible to take the class as an individual.

Altitude training - rope and construction access

As work at height with the use of appropriate mountaineering equipment can be divided into rope access and construction access, our offer also includes two types of training.

Rope access training is aimed at people who want to work as a rope climber. It is intended for people who want to perform works such as mounting advertisements and other assembly works, pruning trees, felling trees, washing windows at height, removing snow from roofs, painting the facade, servicing masts.

Construction access training is intended for employees who have to climb, for example, structural elements in order to get to the workplace. They are intended, among others, for employees in the construction, roofing, telecommunications and electricity industries.

The trainings include theoretical and practical parts, which allows participants to comprehensively prepare for work at height.

The training program includes, among others, the following issues:

• legal and health and safety requirements
• characteristics of mountaineering works
• hazards related to working at height
• selection, use and control of equipment
• rescue techniques
• individual and collective insurance
• health and safety rules
• practical exercises

After the end of the course, the participants take the exam. After passing it, they receive a height license. The rights are valid for 3 years. After this time, they should be renewed by taking a refresher course.
