Stationary mobile platforms - a course for operators

Pursuant to the provisions on technical inspection, a stationary mobile platform is a material handling device that is subject to technical inspection. Such a provision entails a number of obligations for operators, including the need to keep appropriate documentation and conduct regular technical inspections. Most of all, however, it is a requirement to have UDT qualifications to operate the platforms.

The stationary mobile platform operator course is a way to gain not only the knowledge needed at work, but also the qualifications themselves. As part of the classes, a state examination is organized in front of the UDT commission, and the cost of taking the exam is included in the course price.

Stationary landing: construction, operation, applications

Such platforms are included, along with suspended platforms, in category II P - according to the UDT classification. Unlike, for example, mobile or self-propelled work platforms, they are not equipped with a wheeled chassis. They are placed in one place permanently or for a long time, so they are suitable for construction works, complex renovation works, as well as in factory halls or warehouses.

A typical stationary platform is equipped with a basket / platform for transporting employees, tools or materials, and a telescopic or scissor boom. Everything is placed on a stable platform. The operator controls the boom with the automatic steering system.

Course on stationary mobile platforms - details

The classes are intended for people who want to qualify as an operator. Completing the course and passing the exam is sufficient to obtain the qualifications required by the Office of Technical Inspection and appropriate preparation for work. We do not require experience or knowledge in the field of operation from students. However, the classes may be attended by experienced people who, for example, worked as an operator's assistant - in groups for such people, the scope of the material may be reduced by unnecessary elements.

The time needed to obtain qualifications is from about 8 hours (experienced people) to about 20-35 hours (beginner students).

The course "Stationary Mobile Work Platforms" is as follows:

  • Theoretical classes - stationary or online: information on safety rules, technical inspection regulations, device construction, applications, operator's duties during work
  • Practical classes - learning how to use the equipment on the maneuvering yard / hall
  • UDT exam - the trainings are completed with a state exam, which is carried out by UDT inspectors (from Warsaw or one of the branches throughout Poland). A candidate who passes the exam obtains qualifications for II P category mobile platforms: stationary and hanging.

To choose the date and place of training for mobile platforms (Warsaw, Katowice, Krakow and other large cities), go to the website of our booking system: www.platformaedukacji.pl. The training space is reserved after adding the product to the basket and making the payment.
