Excavator operator - qualification courseExcavator operator training At our company we offer professional excavator operator training courses. We are one of the most experienced companies on the market in providing construction equipment operator training. We provide a professional programme prepared on the basis of current examination requirements. Course characteristics Classes are taught by a staff of professional instructors with extensive experience. Our curriculum is based on the requirements of the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. Our training is designed to provide participants with comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge that will enable them to find their place as operators of machinery used in the construction and road-building industries. Requirements for trainees Potential trainees must: be at least 18 years old, have a medical certificate that there are no contraindications to exercising the profession, have at least a primary school education. What exactly does the course look like? Classes covering both theory and practice teach, among other things: workstation preparation, to be ready for a variety of working conditions that require non-obvious solutions and specialised tools, cooperation with the rest of the machines on site, the basics of maintenance and carrying out easy repairs, the creation of workflow documentation, proper operation, health and safety rules. Final examination At the end of the training, the trainees have to take a state exam before a commission from the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining. The first part is a practical exam and the second part is a test of theoretical knowledge. After passing both examinations, the trainee is awarded a certificate and a card allowing them to work as an excavator or backhoe loader operator of any kind. Post-training work On completion of the training, the graduate will be able to operate excavators of various types, in places such as construction sites or road repairs. He or she should also be qualified to organise the operation of excavators in abnormal weather conditions, be familiar with the quality of the equipment or carry out minor repairs and maintenance activities. We also offer training for maintainers of various types of construction equipment and training for backhoe loaders and other construction machinery. What is an excavator? An excavator is a type of construction machine whose task is to carry out earthworks. In other words, it is used to excavate the soil for subsequent work and transfer it to transport vehicles or to what is known as a stockpile. Excavators do not only move earth. They are also ideal for handling materials such as sand, coal or gravel. Division of excavators There are many different categories in terms of which excavators can be divided. Each type of excavator also has different specifications. What they all have in common in terms of construction is the body including the engine, the operator's cab, the control system and the carrier system. The most important feature that distinguishes the different excavators is the purpose of their use. A distinction is therefore made between excavators: Collective, grippers, Pre-business, backhoe, mini excavators. Other aspects that characterise excavators are: operating mode, drive, chassis type, control method. Excavators belong to the same type of equipment as backhoe loaders and loaders. Loaders differ from excavators in that they do not have a bent arm ending in a vessel, but the vessel itself that lifts the material up or down. Questions and Answers How is the course going?
